Clap, Clap, Roll!

Ella brings a bright blue ball to the park to show Jordan how rolling works. One bump against a bench sends the ball into tall, swishing grass, and soon Ella and Jordan cannot spot it anywhere. When the ball reaches the path, Ella has a clapping idea for helping Jordan find the way back to the game.
Ella brings blue ball to park **gate**. Jordan pats it. "Roll it! I can't **wait**." Warm sun shines and starts to **glow**. Ella says, "Watch the way I **go**."
Ella rolls the bright blue ball with **care**. "Clap, clap, follow the tap!" rings clear in the **air**. It bumps the bench with a **thump**. Jordan watches it wobble from the **bump**.
Jordan gives the ball a small **push**. It rolls to tall grass, swish, swish, **hush**. Blue ball slips behind the blades so **deep**. "Where did it go?" they whisper, as they **peep**.
Ella parts the grass and looks down **low**. Jordan finds a yellow leaf, not the ball's **glow**. Swish-swish, the grass makes a curtain **tight**. They cannot spot the ball, though the sun is **bright**.
A rolling rumble fills the **air**. Ella and Jordan hurry **there**. They see blue ball roll on the **track**. "It's there!" says Jordan. "Get it **back**!"
Ella claps a steady beat, clap, **clap**. "Clap, clap, follow the **tap**!" The ball is not in the grass they searched **before**. Jordan follows the claps toward a rolling **roar**.
"Clap, clap, follow the **tap**!" Jordan rolls the blue ball back to Ella's **lap**. Across the path, it rolls to Ella's **feet**. Ella catches it. "You found the **beat**!"
Now Ella rolls, and Jordan rolls **too**. The ball zips back in easy **view**. Clap, clap, follow the tap, and **play**. They roll and clap the whole day **away**.
