Ate Gabriella and Baby Jordan's Big Helper Day

Gabriella loves helping and practices caring for others as she brushes her teeth, checks her teddy bear with a stethoscope, uses the potty, and washes her hands. At lunch, she tries to feed Baby Jordan squash, but the food splashes onto his nose, and big sister Ella helps clean him up. Feeling discouraged, Gabriella is cheered when Jordan wiggles his toes and makes a special happy sound just for her. With a gentle hug and dreams of future doctor visits and space adventures, Gabriella learns that caring also means sharing kindness and celebrating small moments together.

Every morning, Gabriella loved to help. She stood on her stool and reached for her bright red toothbrush. Brush, brush, circles up top and swish down low! Her minty foam bubbles smelled like sweet apples.

After scrubbing her teeth, Gabriella checked her stethoscope. She listened to her teddy bear's heart. "Thump, thump! Bear is healthy!" she said. Baby Jordan giggled, rolled on the floor, and kicked his feet

When the alarm rang, Gabriella marched straight to her little potty. She sat patiently and counted to ten. Flush went the water! "Please may I wash my hands now?" she asked proudly. Tops and bottoms, tops and bottoms, in between, in between. Scrub them all together, scrub them all together. Now we're clean!

At lunchtime, crunchy orange carrots rested on her silver plate. Gabriella tried to feed Jordan a spoonful of squash. Splash! Squash landed right on Jordan's nose. Big sister Ella rushed to grab a blue towel and cleaned Jordan's face.

Gabriella felt sad that her feeding trick failed. She sat quietly on the soft rug and lowered her head. She picked up her green wooden stethoscope and tapped it softly against her knee.

Suddenly, a soft sound echoed across the play mat. Jordan wiggled his toes and let out a happy, squeaky babble. Gabriella looked up and gasped. Jordan had shared his special noise just for her!

"Thank you, little patient," Gabriella whispered, giving Jordan a gentle hug. Brush, brush went the red toothbrush in her hand as she dreamed of doctor visits and space adventures to come.
