Alyssandra’s Potty Parade

Alyssandra is ready to captain the Underwear Parade around the nursery, with Rosa and Erik marching behind. But a wiggle in her tummy keeps interrupting the music. Can Captain Alyssandra steer her parade to the little potty in time?

Alyssandra lifted the underwear parade flag. "Captain ready!" she said. Rosa and Erik lined up behind her on the nursery rug. Rosa tapped her feet. Erik made a hushed trumpet noise: "Toot-toot."

Captain Alyssandra marched past blocks and a stuffed bear. Rosa foot-tapped. Erik went, "Pffft-toot!" "Wiggle, march, potty stop!" Alyssandra taught them. Then a tiny wiggle made her freeze beside the little potty.

Alyssandra paused and used the little potty. The parade waited quietly. Rosa peeled a shiny gold star from the potty picture chart. Alyssandra pressed it into an empty circle. "March again!" she said, raising her flag.

The parade restarted around the nursery. Alyssandra chose a speedy new route past the rocking chair. Then another tummy wiggle came. "Wiggle, march, potty stop!" Alyssandra said, but Rosa's trumpet noise stopped with a squeak. "Pffft-squeee!" Rosa said.

"Faster feet!" Alyssandra called. She marched toward the nursery finish by the window. But the wiggle got bigger. She clutched the flagpole and looked at the little potty. Her parade needed a new route, fast.

Captain Alyssandra swung the flag toward the potty. "New finish line!" she said. "Wiggle, march, potty stop!" Rosa and Erik called. "The little potty is official!" Alyssandra said. Everyone turned and marched that way.

Alyssandra reached the little potty in time. She paused the parade and used it. Then she pressed a shiny gold star onto the chart. Rosa clapped. Erik trumpeted, "TOOT!" The potty finish line had won.

From the potty finish line, Alyssandra waved her flag. Rosa cheered. Erik marched two proud steps. Then Erik stopped and wiggled. Alyssandra pointed to the potty. "Your turn, Captain Toot!" she said.
