Cannonball Crew at Mt. Olympus

Starring Subhan, Musab, Musa

At a water park, Subhan, Musab, and Musa race toward a giant tunnel slide, but Musa's sunflower-yellow flip-flop comes loose and disappears into the rushing water. After splashing into the catch basin, the crew follows clues from the wave pool to a quiet corner by the shallow drain, where Musab spots the flip-flop trapped against a metal grate and pulls it free. Musa checks the tiny crescent notch, slips the flip-flop back on, and joins his friends as they march toward the next tower, showing how teamwork and persistence can solve a problem.

"Cannonball crew, one two three!" Subhan called out, tapping four fingers against his palm. Musab adjusted his green goggles with a loud rubber snap. Musa gave a hop, planting his sunflower-yellow flip-flop firmly on the warm concrete. "Big slide first!" Musa grinned.

They raced up the wooden steps, smelling sweet sunscreen and chlorine. Musa hopped twice on one bare heel to nudge his loose shoe tighter. [gasp] "Ready, crew?" Subhan pointed toward the dark yellow tunnel. "One, two, three, go!"

Water surged beneath them with a roaring rush. Around the sharp second bend, Musa bumped the plastic wall. Whoosh! His yellow flip-flop floated free, spinning fast into the rushing dark ahead of him. [gasp] "Catch it!" Musa yelled.

They splashed hard into the deep catch basin. Musa waded out, curling his bare toes against the rough bottom. "It went to the big wave pool!" Musab called, wading straight into the rolling swells. Subhan splashed after him, but the waves held only blue water.

"Wrong turn," Subhan said, tracking the big yellow pipe overhead with his index finger. "Four curves make it dump by the shallow drain over there!" He tapped Musab's shoulder and pointed to a quiet corner.

All three ran across the sunlit deck. Trapped against a silver metal grate, the yellow flip-flop bobbed in the current. Musab dropped to his knees, gripping the strap, and yanked it out with a wet squelch.

Musa pressed the cool rubber against his ribs, grinning at the tiny crescent notch on the strap. "Still tough," Musa said. Musab snapped his green goggles back onto his forehead with a grin.

Musa slid his foot into the flip-flop and gave one firm hop on the warm stone. Subhan raised three fingers high. "Cannonball crew, one two three." Side by side, they marched toward the next giant tower.
