Sleepy Slime and the Sparkle-Tower Soirée
Starring Sleepy Slime
Sleepy Slime slid off a plane in France, yawning under its purple nightcap. “I want a warm croissant and the sparkly tower,” it murmured. The air smelled like butter and rain, which made Sleepy Slime smile and wobble toward the city.
A bell chimed, and a friendly baker waved. “Bonjour! I’m Mimi,” she said. Because Sleepy Slime asked for the best croissant and the big tower, Mimi handed over a tiny map and a buttery treat that puffed like a pillow.
Sleepy Slime took a nibble and got sleepy-slow, which made it bump a stack of jam jars. Splat! Red jam spread like a sticky lake. “I’m sorry,” it whispered, feeling droopy. Mimi sighed, then smiled. “We’ll clean together. Teamwork is quick.”
After they cleaned, Mimi drew stars on the map for a shortcut and gave a tiny rolling pin. “A gift,” she said. Because time was slipping, Sleepy Slime chose to help deliver a fresh baguette to a boy by the river to thank Mimi.
By the Seine, a boy waved. “I’m Léo! Merci for the bread!” He glanced at the sky. “The tower’s elevator closes soon. Follow me.” Because Sleepy Slime wanted the sparkles, it agreed, and they hurried under bridge shadows.
Raindrops pattered. The map ink ran, and the elevator gate clicked shut. “Oh no,” said Léo. Sleepy Slime drooped, almost ready to quit. Then a warm, buttery smell drifted up, and a pigeon in a tiny red hat cooed. “Follow me,” Léo laughed. “That’s Jacques!”
They climbed narrow stairs to a rooftop café. Mimi arrived with a basket. Because Sleepy Slime felt sorry about the jam, it used the tiny rolling pin to help make little fruit tarts. The tower burst into sparkles, and everyone cheered together.
After the treats, Sleepy Slime curled up on a soft croissant pillow. “Small helps make big dreams,” whispered Mimi. The nightcap shimmered as the tower sparkled, which made Sleepy Slime feel cozy and proud. Paris glowed, and the map—now starred in memory—rested safe in its heart.
