Baboon, Baby, and the Bank of Brightness
Starring Alice, Silly Baboon
Curious Alice and playful Silly Baboon visit a bank to see shiny coins, but a spilled jar causes trouble they must fix. Using quick thinking, gentle apologies, and clever tools, they sort and return every coin, turning worry into cheers. The story celebrates responsibility, teamwork, and how trust is the brightest treasure.
Alice shook her toy of colorful shapes, and it made a soft clack-clack. “Let’s see the shiny place,” Silly Baboon said, pushing her stroller with careful paws. Because Alice giggled at the sparkles in the sun, they headed to the town bank together.
Inside the bank, cool air smelled like paper and polish. A friendly teller waved and whispered, “Welcome,” which made Alice smile wider. Silly Baboon whispered back, “We’ll only borrow some sparkle for our eyes,” so they tiptoed to look at the shiny coins behind the glass.
Silly Baboon bumped a tall jar by accident, and coins spilled like tiny bells. The clatter made Alice’s eyes water, and the Bank Manager hurried over with a worried frown. Because they made a mess, Silly Baboon said, “We’ll fix it. We promise.”
To help faster, they made a scooper: a paper cone from a flyer and Alice’s toy as a gentle push-bar. “Good thinking,” the teller said, passing a small tray. Because the tool worked, coins slid neatly into piles, and the manager’s frown slowly untied.
They still had many coins, so Silly Baboon drew a quick “map” with sticky notes: pennies here, nickels there. Alice tapped the tray like gentle raindrops, which made a happy sorting rhythm. Because customers saw their plan, two joined in to help the lines of coins grow straight and fast.
Suddenly, a door sensor chirped, and the Bank Manager stiffened. For a second, he looked scared, as if this was a robbery. Silly Baboon made a new choice: he clicked off the sensor mat, held up the cone, and said, “We’re returning every coin,” while Alice shone her toy so a heart-shaped shadow danced on the wall.
The manager’s shoulders relaxed, and he nodded. After everyone finished, the teller clapped, and the lobby echoed with cheerful sounds. Because trust felt brighter than coins, the manager handed them a shiny thank-you sticker and said, “Helpers today.”
Outside, the sun made the bank windows glow like clean pennies. Alice shook her toy, and soft colors danced on the sidewalk. Because kindness fixed their mistake, they walked home feeling rich in trust, carrying the memory of tiny, shining coins lined up just right.
