Sofia tiptoed into the whispering woods, her silver tiara catching moonlight. “Where did the path go?” she asked as glowing blue mushrooms hid the trail like a soft blanket. A rustle replied, “Small lights show big ways,” which made her think about choosing the faintest glow. She nodded, heart bright and brave.

A gentle light bobbed close. “I’m Luma,” said a golden firefly in a green scarf. Sofia smiled and chose to follow Luma’s softer glow, because the riddle hinted small lights guide best. Together they mapped their steps by tapping pebbles and counting mushroom rings.

Suddenly the mushrooms flared brighter, and Sofia hurried toward the biggest glow, which led into a soggy bog. Mud splashed her dress, and Luma’s light dimmed from worry and lost time. Sofia took a breath and apologized. She chose a new plan: listen again, then use her tiara to reflect gentle light into arrow shapes on the ground.

The woods whispered, “Small lights, steady hearts,” so Sofia crushed mint leaves for a fresh scent trail and followed Luma’s calm glow. Blue caps pulsed, revealing the hidden path ribboning home. Luma beamed brighter as trust mended, and Sofia laughed with relief. They stepped out together, the mushrooms twinkling like a promise to choose wisely again.
