Sleepy Slime and the Slippery Shimmerstone

Starring Sleepy Slime
Sleepy Slime found a glowing pebble by the root of a stump. “I’ll carry you to the Lantern Circle,” it murmured, but a big yawn made the pebble slip—plop! Because the night air smelled minty and calm, Sleepy tried again, tucking it under the soft purple nightcap.
The pebble slipped out again after another yawn and splashed into a puddle, which made Sleepy’s tummy flop. “Need help?” asked Luma the Firefly, zipping close. Together they crafted a leaf sling with grass knots, so the pebble felt snug and less slippery.
Halfway there, a super-long yawn loosened the knots, and the pebble rolled toward the stream. “New plan!” Sleepy whispered, stuffing soft moss into the nightcap to make a cozy pouch. Luma traced a dotted light path and pointed out the sweet clover scent, so they followed both, careful and slow.
At the Lantern Circle, Sleepy set the pebble on the stump, and the clearing bloomed with gentle glow. Fireflies gathered, and Luma cheered, which eased the lost time and worry from before. “Good plan,” said Sleepy, curling by the light as the nightcap hung like a tiny lampshade.
