Jolly Justin and the Gentle-Giant Gains

Starring Justin
“Chill Challenge time!” Justin said, sliding in his socks and flashing his aviator sunglasses. He drew a chalk map on the sidewalk—hops, steps, and stops—because he wanted to grow super strong to help carry heavy things. The orange of his shirt glowed in the sun, and the chalk smelled dusty and fun. “Ready, set, gentle!” he whispered with a laid-back grin.
So he made tools: a pillowcase filled with rice became a soft sandbag that smelled a little like cereal. He mapped laps with chalk, then set a shadow-timer by marking where the sun line reached the fence. “Slow and steady,” Justin said, choosing lighter lifts first, which made him feel proud and calm. His legs hummed warm, and the rope thumped a friendly beat.
After a week, he tried to move a big planter—but it tipped, and soil plopped out in a messy mound. Rain began, smearing his chalk map, which cost him time and made his chest feel squishy-sad. “Too much, too fast,” he admitted, sweeping soil back with careful hands. He chose to clean first and think smarter next.
Because of the rain, Justin built a new plan: a rolling helper made from his skateboard and bungee cords, plus a shovel for a gentle lever. “Kind-Helping Challenge, take two!” he said, guiding the planter safely onto the wheels. Wind chimes sang, and porch lights blinked on like cheers, which filled him with bright joy. His restored chalk star gleamed at the finish, reminding him that smart and steady makes strong.
