Mochi and the Gentle Tree Wiggle

Starring Mochi
Mochi, the cutest Bernedoodle, sniffed the bark and wagged her fluffy tail. "Itchy-itch!" she said, wiggling to scratch against the rough tree, which felt bumpy like toast. Leaves rustled and the air smelled like warm earth, so she rubbed harder to stop the tickle.
But the wiggling shook the branches, so petals and acorns rained down on Pip the Squirrel and Mrs. Bluejay. "Hey, please be gentle!" Pip squeaked, and Mrs. Bluejay huffed, which made Mochi’s ears droop. Wanting to fix it, Mochi followed a piney scent to find a smooth branch for a kinder scratch.
The branch felt sticky with sap, and a loose feather got glued on, which wasted time and made everyone sigh. "This isn’t working," Mochi murmured, thinking hard. She chose a new plan: "Let’s build a gentle post!" Together they gathered soft moss, smooth bark, and Mochi’s bandana to make a padded brush.
Mochi tested the Kindness Post with a gentle rub, and the itch finally faded, so smiles and chirps burst all around. Trust felt mended, and they cleaned the sticky mess together. "We did it—soft and kind!" Mochi cheered, as her bandana bow fluttered on the post, bright as a promise to be gentle.
