“Snoozy puffs! Warm and gentle!” yawned Sleepy Slime, its purple nightcap slipping as chamomile steam tickled noses. The snacks smelled like honey and pillows, so people started dozing on benches and near the crosswalk. A bike bell rang and wobbled, which made Sleepy Slime whisper, “Uh-oh… too sleepy.”

Because snoozers filled the crosswalk, Officer Luna the Night Watch Owl arrived with a warm lantern. “You’re selling too many sleepy snacks on the streets,” she said kindly. Sleepy Slime was incarcerated in the Cozy Care Room for safety, and its cart was held, which made it worried. “I only wanted to help tired neighbors rest,” it sniffled.

“What if I fix it?” whispered Sleepy Slime. It planned lighter recipes, a mint-scent trail to safe nap spots, and tiny chimes to wake people. Just as Luna agreed, a parade closed the plaza, so their setup fell apart. Sleepy chose a new plan: the library courtyard, star-glow jars, and a simple map to guide everyone there.

At the library, they followed the mint scent and star jars to “Scheduled Snooze Booths.” “Snack, then nap, then chime,” said Sleepy Slime, handing out mild puffs with tiny timers. Together they woke scattered nappers and cleaned spills, which restored trust. “Permit granted,” Luna smiled, as the nightcap bobbed under twinkly lights.
