Minty Moonlight and the Wobbly Whisper

Starring Whimpy weiner, Mr. Toothbrush
Whimpy weiner peeked around the corner, his legs wobbling like jelly. Mr. Toothbrush waited by the sink with a stern, bristly stare and a neat red bow tie. “Okay, whisper plan,” Whimpy said, “wobble, roll, whoosh,” hoping no one noticed his trembling grin. The tile felt cool and slick, so he tiptoed very slowly.
Because the floor was slick, his wobbly end slipped and bumped the toothpaste tube. Splat! Minty paste bloomed on the tile, which made the whole room smell fresh and warned Mr. Toothbrush. To fix it fast, Whimpy dotted tiny paste arrows into a quick map and looped a floss rope around the tube.
As the minty scent spread, Mr. Toothbrush slid in and blocked the path. “Halt. Clean first,” he said, bristles tall. “I just want the window’s moon sparkle,” Whimpy admitted, which softened Mr. Toothbrush a bit. Working together, Whimpy used his shiny sides to reflect the night-light and spot drips while Mr. Toothbrush swished and scrubbed.
Even after the floor gleamed, Mr. Toothbrush still frowned. “No windows after brush o’clock,” he warned, and the sill was high besides. Whimpy made a brave new choice: “Then help me make it safe,” he said, folding a washcloth ramp and tying floss guardrails. Guided by Mr. Toothbrush’s steady count, they rolled up together, and moonlight washed the tiles in a happy, minty glow.
