Sleepy Slime followed a sweet, warm smell and yawned, "Mmm, what is that?" The teal blob peeked into the bakery, nightcap drooping, and met Baker Bella. "Chocolate," Bella said, smiling. Because the smell felt cozy, Sleepy Slime chose to learn all about it.

Bella set out dark, milk, and white chocolate squares. Sleepy Slime tried to hold one, but its warm, glossy body made it melt into a puddle, which made Bella gasp. "Oh no—mess!" she said, worried. So they cleaned together, and Bella drew a simple "chocolate map" of steps for learning without touching.

Following the map, Bella handled the hot pot while Sleepy Slime read the steps and shook cocoa sprinkles from a long-handled shaker. Steam puffed up, making Sleepy Slime extra drowsy, and the pot wobbled—uh-oh! Choosing fast, Sleepy Slime said, "Switch! I’ll call the steps slow and clear," so Bella steadied the pour and saved the cocoa.

They tasted together. "Dark is strong, milk is creamy, and white is sweet," said Bella, while Sleepy Slime hummed happily and learned the smells, the shine, and the gentle snap. Because they fixed the mess and worked as a team, neighbors got cocoa too, which felt joyful. The nightcap fluttered like a tiny flag beside neat, shiny chocolate squares on cool stone.
