Sofia and the Humming Doorway

Starring Sofia
Sofia, Princess of the West, climbed the mossy wall, her pink gems winking in the dim light. A glowing vine wrapped her boot and tugged her toward a hidden doorway. “Hey!” she said, pulling back, which made the vine cinch tighter and her palm scrape rough moss. She winced, losing time and trust.
The vine brightened and whispered a riddle like wind-chimes: “Find the tune that fits the light.” Sofia stopped fighting and listened, heart thumping. She remembered her mother’s lullaby about patient stars, so she whispered, “I’ll try your song.” The glow steadied, which made Sofia feel brave.
Sofia hummed the lullaby, but too fast at first, and the vine tightened in worry. She slowed, softer and steady, and said, “Sorry—I’ll match your glow.” Because her tune fit the light, the tendrils loosened and guided her toward the doorway. She smoothed a crushed leaf, fixing the small mess she’d made.
The doorway opened, and the vine led Sofia into a sunlit secret garden that smelled like mint and rain. Golden rays caught her tiara, scattering pink sparkles on the path. “Thank you,” she said. Because she listened and made it right, the garden welcomed her with birdsong and shining peace.
