Alice giggled, shaking her toy of colorful shapes, which made soft clacks in the museum. “Look, Nana!” she squealed as sunlight made big dino shadows on the wall. Grandma Jo smiled. “I see them, my bright star,” she said, and Alice’s round cheeks glowed.

A tiny stomp sounded—thump, thump—and a friendly T-Rex peeked out. “I’m Milo,” he whispered. Alice bounced. “Dance-battle?” she asked, so Milo wiggled and stomped in a silly, safe way that made her laugh even more.

Professor Pip rushed in, frowning gently. “Oh dear—the model dino skull for the Blackberry Market show is missing!” Because he looked worried, Alice tapped her toy and nodded. She drew a crayon map on a brochure, and Milo leaned close to help follow it.

The map led them outside to sweet, tangy smells—Blackberry Market! “Follow the berry scent,” Alice said, sniffing. But a windy whoosh tipped baskets, which made purple berries roll everywhere. Baker Bea gasped, and time slipped away as everyone scrambled.

“We’ll fix the mess,” Alice said, which made Bea smile again. Working together, they scooped berries and rinsed the sticky stones. Then Alice had a sparkly idea: using paper, crates, and tape, they crafted a bright, pretend skull for the show.

Back at the museum, a big shadow on the wall looked like Milo carrying the real skull. Gasps filled the hall, and Professor Pip looked hurt. Alice’s tummy fluttered, so she chose a new plan—“Lights and shapes!” she said, lifting her toy.

Alice held the toy in the beam and turned the pieces, because she knew shadows can trick eyes. The scary shape shifted into a harmless heart and a circle, and everyone sighed. Professor Pip opened a curtain to reveal the real skull still safe on its stand.

For the show, they used the pretend skull they built, and no one sold any bones. At Blackberry Market, Bea traded berry tarts for museum tickets, and everyone cheered. Alice and Milo watched light make gentle dino shapes, which felt like a happy promise to help again.
