Mr. Toothbrush and the Sneaky Shadow Spot
Starring Mr. Toothbrush
“Time to make smiles sparkle!” said Mr. Toothbrush, fluffing his light blue bristle hair and straightening his red bow tie. He patrolled the teeth like a brave helper, sniffing a sweet, sticky smell. “My grooves feel funny,” whispered Molly Molar, sounding worried. Because he cared, he made a mouth map in his head and went to check her first.
He found a dark dot hiding in Molly’s deep groove. “Hold still—I’ll swish and scrub,” he said, swooshing minty foam and brushing fast. The dot clung tight, and the foam splashed everywhere, which made a big mess and took extra time. “Ow—too rough,” Molly said, frowning, and his heart drooped.
The dot didn’t fade—it looked deeper. “This isn’t just a stain,” he gasped. He chose a new plan: “Flossy Ribbon, I need your thread!” Together they traced the groove like a map with minty lines and a gentle water swish, while Flossy slid silk into the tight spot.
Crumbs cleared, a tiny cavity peeked out. “We cleaned the gunk, but a dentist should fix this,” Mr. Toothbrush said softly, smoothing a protective gel and wiping the mess away. “Thank you for being gentle,” Molly smiled, feeling safe again. All the teeth twinkled, and his red bow tie shone like a promise to care.
