Sofia, Princess of the West, whispered, "I’ll follow you, little sparkles," and her tiara twinkled back. The trail glittered like tiny bells and smelled softly of peppermint, so she stepped lightly between mossy roots. Just as she neared a hollow tree, the shimmer faded, which made her stop and listen hard.

From the dark, a tiny voice said, "Need a light?" and Lumen the Firefly bobbed out, glowing gold. "Yes, please," Sofia said, but her tiara snagged on rough bark, and one pink gem popped loose, costing time as she caught it. Because she still wanted to help whoever needed her, she tucked the gem safely away and followed Lumen into the hollow, tying bits of pink ribbon as markers.

Far inside, they found bark letters: Stop your light to see mine. "But we need light," Lumen murmured. Sofia made a new plan—she set her tiara and the gem on a stump, cupped Lumen’s glow until it dimmed, and waited; a secret side tunnel glimmered to life in soft silver, changing their route and her heart’s worry into hope.

The silver path led to a Moonmoth stuck in sticky sap, the true maker of the sparkles. "Hold steady," Sofia said, weaving her ribbons and a broad leaf into a soft sling while Lumen lit each move. After a tense, stringy snap, the moth came free, and the tunnel filled with happy flickers. Sofia pressed her pink gem into the bark as thanks, so the way home shone clear and everyone glowed together.
