Pass the Tiny Cup!

Starring Bruno Brightcoat, Paul Revere, Loui Banana

Bruno Brightcoat, Paul Revere, and Loui Banana arrive in a sunny garden with tiny treats ready for tea, but only one special teacup sits on the table. The party is about to begin, and everyone worries that the missing cups will leave someone out. Bruno races to solve the problem, Paul draws on his experience carrying important messages, and Loui carefully keeps watch so each friend gets a turn. Can they save the tea party with one little cup?

Bruno Brightcoat tapped a lucky lapel twice beside the sunny table. Paul Revere leaned close, and Loui Banana set out tiny treats. The special teacup rested on its silver saucer, where three little arrows curled around the rim. "Tea time!" said Bruno.

Paul Revere checked the three places. Empty. Loui Banana peered under the cloth. Empty. "One cup for three?" said Loui. Bruno Brightcoat looked at the steaming tea. The tiny treats waited, crumbly and untouched. Who would go first?

"I'll pass it fast!" said Bruno Brightcoat. Bruno Brightcoat tapped twice, then reached across. Whoosh! The warm breeze flipped the checked cloth. The saucer spun, and the special teacup wobbled at its edge. "Pass the tiny cup, pass it on!" called Loui Banana.

Paul Revere steadied the saucer with both hands. "A message needs a route," said Paul Revere. "Sip, pass, and say who comes next." "A relay!" said Bruno Brightcoat. "Bruno first, then Paul, then Loui!" The tea still steamed. Could the cup hurry politely?

Bruno Brightcoat sipped, then hurried the cup to Paul Revere. "Your turn, Paul!" said Bruno Brightcoat. Paul Revere passed it back. "Your turn, Bruno!" said Paul Revere. Loui Banana held up one waiting finger. The tea party had skipped Loui Banana!

Loui Banana pointed at the saucer. "The arrows go round and round!" said Loui Banana. "Trace all three with one finger. Whose turn comes next?" Bruno Brightcoat traced. Paul Revere traced. "Loui Banana!" they called. "Pass the tiny cup, pass it on!"

Bruno Brightcoat followed the arrows, slow and steady. "For Paul, with a polite sip!" called Paul Revere. "For Loui Banana, with a crumbly treat!" Around went the cup, Bruno Brightcoat to Paul Revere to Loui Banana, without one wobble. "Pass the tiny cup, pass it on!"

All three friends cheered, "Pass the tiny cup, pass it on!" The special teacup began one more important lap, smooth as a wheel. Bruno Brightcoat, Paul Revere, and Loui Banana each reached in turn, while only a few happy crumbs remained.
