“Sniff, sniff! Cinnamon!” said Cutie Pie, their cherry bobbing. Silly Baboon pushed up his blue glasses and giggled, “Let’s bring your sweet surprise to the Jungle Jamboree!” Because they were excited, they started early, while the leaves still sparkled with morning dew.

They reached a fork, which made Silly Baboon point left. Cutie Pie sniffed; the cinnamon smell drifted right, so they chose the right path together. The choice felt smart, and their steps sounded crunchy on pebble bits.

Soon they spotted crumbs shaped like arrows, which made Silly Baboon adjust his glasses to study them. “It’s a crumb map!” he said, tracing shapes on a big leaf. Because the trail matched the leaf-map, hope bubbled up like fizzy soda.

A vine slide looked fast, so Silly Baboon tried it—and whoosh! They tumbled into a muddy puddle, which smeared their leaf-map. Cutie Pie’s smile drooped, and trust felt wobbly like jelly.

“I’m sorry,” whispered Silly Baboon, which made Cutie Pie’s cheeks pinker. They fixed things by making a jam-jar lantern to dry the map—warm light danced on the leaf while they redraw lines by smell and memory. Because they worked slowly, the path returned, and so did trust.

After the lantern led them on, they reached riddle stones before a rope bridge. Across the sway, the party banner flapped loose, which made Silly Baboon want to dash. He chose to think first with Cutie Pie, they solved the riddle, and the bridge settled still.

Wind roared, and the banner ripped free toward the river, so tension spiked. Cutie Pie said, “Bandana, vines, cherry knot—make a kite-net!” Silly Baboon chose calm over speed, they launched together, and the kite-net caught the banner just in time.

Because they saved the banner and the pie, the Jamboree cheered. Silly Baboon shared, “Brave works best with thinking,” and Cutie Pie’s cherry shone like a tiny lantern beside the mended cloth. Music drifted warm and sweet, and they tasted victory with cinnamon and smiles.
