Zoo-Brew Crew: Mimi, Kenji, and the Kind-Hands Clue
Starring Mr. Kenji Glass, Ella
“To the zoo,” sang Mimi, “with vest so pink and new,” hummed **Mimi**. Mr. Kenji tapped his bookmark three soft times, “Clues for us, and kind hands **too**.” They read tiny letters on the gate, which made him grin, “Librarian eyes help me guide **you**.”
They found a sunny picnic nook, “Let’s brew a gentle cup or **two**.” Beans went plip-plop in the grinder, and Mimi sniffed, “Chocolate-clouds smell **through**.” Because the steam curled like ribbons, they felt brave to start the day’s **view**.
A parrot squawked “SQUAAWK,” which made Mimi jump, and beans rolled, oh **no**. They scattered like marbles under the bench, costing time we needed to **go**. Mr. Kenji chuckled kindly, “We’ll sweep, then sip,” and Mimi breathed her pocket-song **low**.
After sweeping, they washed small hands, to the petting pen they **go**. “Goats like gentle strokes,” said Kenji, “slow as pages turning **so**.” Mimi giggled at tickly wool, and warm milk foam made her cocoa **glow**.
But uh-oh, his bookmark’s gone; Mr. Kenji blinked, “Where did it **hide**?” He tapped three times; tiny letters on signs seemed to whisper, “Follow the warm-coffee **guide**.” Because Mimi’s nose found the scent-trail too, they traced it with giggles and **pride**.
Reversal! A gate sign read, “No hot drinks past this spot,” so they paused their **stride**. Mimi whispered, “We finish here, then bring brushes and water for goat-care **pride**.” Because plans changed kindly, trust felt mended from our spill-and-scare **ride**.
They groomed with slow, soft strokes; the goats went “maa,” a happy, gentle **cheer**. Mr. Kenji found his bookmark by the cup’s ring, “Aha! Our clue led us **here**.” Because they shared care like a team, the whole pen felt cozy and **clear**.
At sunset they sipped last drops, and Mimi hummed her pocket-song **true**. “Kind hands find answers,” said Kenji, tucking the bookmark safe by the cup’s soft **hue**. Because they cared, brewed, and tried again, the zoo felt like a map of brave **you**.
