Fizz, Float, and the Sundae Switcheroo

Starring Ice Cream Soda
Ice Cream Soda tapped their striped siphon and sent a bubble with a tiny menu floating toward Waffle Cone. A small bear waved and asked, "hey can i get a root beer float?" Waffle Cone adjusted a neat napkin sash and whispered, "No drips today."
Ice Cream Soda grinned and tapped the siphon again, sending a fizzing spritz that smelled like warm caramel. "It's time for a sundae," said the bubbly soda sprite, eyes bright. Because the bear liked root beer, Soda planned a safe float-sundae with tiny bubbles.
Instead, the fizz over-sparkled, and sticky foam splatted the counter. Waffle Cone jumped back and frowned, so Soda grabbed towels and wiped fast. Root Beer Bear waited, clutching his mug, and the line started to grow.
A warm caramel scent drifted under a shelf, which meant the cherry jar had rolled away. Soda followed the smell like a map and found it. After Waffle Cone polished the lid, everyone felt calmer and ready to try again.
More folks shuffled in, which made Root Beer Bear sigh. Because trust felt wobbly, Waffle Cone said, "No more big sprays." Soda thought about their tiny treat-stand dream together, so they built a drip map of spoons and straws to guide gentle fizz.
When Soda tested the gentle path, the nozzle gave a stubborn pfft. The siphon was clogged, so floats would be slow. Soda chose a new plan right away: make a root-beer sundae—steady, sweet, and safe.
They layered scoops, poured a thin caramel ribbon, and dotted root-beer pearls from the last fizz. Working side by side, Waffle Cone crowned it with a shiny cherry. Root Beer Bear’s eyes sparkled, and the waiting crowd cheered.
Because the plan worked, Waffle Cone smiled and squeezed Soda’s fizzy hand. "Your ideas shine when we build them together," they said. Soda sent a new bubble plan drifting up—today’s sundae floating like a promise of their tiny stand to come.
