Sofia and the Forest Wolf

Starring Sofia

Princess Sofia goes camping alone in the pine forest and encounters a large grey wolf that frightens her. After running and hiding, she remembers her kind heart and chooses bravery over fear. She discovers the wolf has a thorn in his paw, helps him, and learns that courage means caring even when you're scared.

Sofia pitched her pink tent beneath the tall pine trees. Her silver tiara glinted in the afternoon sun as she unpacked her sleeping bag. 'What a perfect night for camping!' she whispered to a nearby squirrel.

The princess wandered toward a bubbling stream to fill her canteen. Golden leaves crunched softly under her shiny pink shoes. Suddenly, a loud crack echoed through the quiet woods.

From behind an oak tree stepped an enormous grey wolf with silver-tipped fur and glowing amber eyes. Sofia froze, her heart thumping like a drum. 'Oh my,' she gasped, clutching her tiara.

Spinning around, Sofia dashed behind a large boulder. Her fingers trembled as she pressed against the cold stone. She wanted to scream, but instead she took three deep breaths.

Closing her eyes, Sofia remembered helping the castle baker's injured cat last spring. 'Being brave means caring even when you're scared,' she had said then. Slowly, she peered around the rock.

The princess stood up tall, her pink dress swaying gently. 'Hello, friend,' she called in a steady voice. 'I won't hurt you.' The wolf tilted his head, his bushy tail dropping still.

The wolf whimpered and lifted his front paw, showing a sharp thorn stuck in his pad. Carefully, Sofia approached and gently pulled it free. 'There, all better,' she smiled, patting his soft silver fur.

Together they walked back to her campsite, the wolf trotting calmly by her side. Sofia sat by her crackling fire, the gems in her tiara sparkling like tiny stars. She felt warmer than the flames, knowing kindness had turned fear into friendship.
